MWAD ran dry after four hours and 53
minutes. Groundwater was extracted from MWA S and MW-2S during the entire five hours and
38 minutes the extraction apparatus was running. A total of 1,600 gallons of water were
extracted from the site.
The extracted ground water was removed from the site by Nieto and Sons Trucking, Inc. of
Brea, California on November 18, 2008 and delivered to Demenno Kerdoon in Compton,
California on November 18, 2008. The waste manifest is included as Attachment B.
Evaluation of Recovery
Groundwater recovery was nearly three times greater than the previous month. With additional
potential rainfall events we anticipate better recovery in the coming months ahead. We will
continue this interim remedial action approach.
443 Status Report November 2008.doc 1
