Oak Street March 18, 2008
Stockton, CA 95205
Additionally, all quarterly reports are to include a discussion of both the long and the
short range plans you have for the site. A discussion of these plans is to be included in
the recommendation section of each quarterly report, as well as a schedule for
submission of work plans and reports to the EHD.
Please be advised that any shallow/first interface monitoring well that continues to have
ground water samples that contain petroleum hydrocarbons above maximum
contaminant levels (MCL) is an indication that the ground water plume is not laterally
defined and additional step-out/lateral plume investigation is warranted. Deeper
screened monitoring wells that continue to have ground water samples with dissolved
petroleum above MCLS indicate the lateral extent at that depth and the vertical extent of
the plume is not defined so additional investigation is warranted. The EHD has
determined that the petroleum plume at this site is not laterally or vertically defined.
Further investigation is required.
If you have any questions, please contact Michael Infurna, Senior Registered
Environmental Health Specialist, at (209) 468-3454.
Since
Michael J.
