(Horizon) on your behalf The followifig items need to be addressed prior to <br /> the fourth quarter groundwater monitoring event. <br /> 0 Groundwater samples are not being analyzed f6r tertiary-butyl alcohol (TBA), di- <br /> isopropyl ether (DIPE), ethyl tertiary-butyl ethef (ETBE), tertiary-amyl methyl ether <br /> ! <br /> (TAME), ethylene dibromide (EDB), and 1,2-dichloroethane (1,2-DCA). Horizon <br /> -included this list of compounds for groundwater analysis in-Work Plan for Additional <br /> Groundwater Investigation, dated April 22, 2003, and approved by"EHD on May 9, <br /> 2003. Perform these analyses as proposed and approved. <br /> • Monitoring well MW-1 has a screened interval between 60 and 80 feet below surface <br /> grade (bsg),not 55 to 75 feet bsg as indicated in Table I of the above-referenced report. <br /> • MW-1 needs to be redeveloped. The well's total depth measured on August 17, 2005, <br /> was 72.39 feet bsg, approximately eight feet above the total depth of 80 feet bsg <br /> documented when the well was installed on June 1,"2005. <br /> • MW-1 needs to be surveyed and the coordinates"submitted to GeoTracker, the State <br /> Water Resources Control Board database program.
