Gabriel Gonzalez [EH]
From: William Little <wlittle@advgeoenv.com>
Sent: Tuesday, December 09, 2014 4:27 PM
To: Gabriel Gonzalez [EH]
Subject: RE: 248 E Park St., Stockton (Canepa's Carwash)
Mr. Gabriel Gonzalez:
The City of Stockton is under an EPA permit, which requires all discharges to semi-annual supply a
TTO (total toxicity organic) concentration. The EPA requires the drinking water method used for
reporting. Thus 8260 is equal to 624 and 8270 is equal to 825.
1 do not believe any groundwater monitoring wells samples were analyzed for 625 or for TTO.
However, some groundwater samples were analyzed for 8260 —full list; which allowed for evaluation
of all chemical which might be collected by the DPE or be detected off-site. TCE and PCE are
traditionally detected, release from the local dry cleaner. Maybe a talk with NCH will help your
understand of the local issues.
Well DPE-4 is north of the plume and not actively used for the groundwater extraction.
Sincerely,
William R. I have seen this type of analysis for effluent water samples in remediation
system sampling, but not so in groundwater sampling from MWs. Is this to fulfill a particular requirement?
• DPE-4 doesn't seem to be mentioned in recent remediation reports. What is this well being used for?
Thank you,
Gahrial
