The <br /> CUF concurs with the EHD that active remediation should begin as soon as practical. <br /> In Groundwater Monitoring Report — Second Quarter 2011, dated 16 August 2011, the <br /> consultant reported that the soil vapor extraction (SVE) and groundwater extraction (GWE) <br /> systems had been installed and that implementation of the systems was waiting on final <br /> regulatory inspection and approval—presumably by the air board and/or public works of the City <br /> of Stockton. Another impediment to implementing remediation is that the CUF allocated only <br /> $10,000 for this site; not enough to perform any meaningful remediation.
