I am reviewing a budget change request(BCR)for the above referenced claim. As per the BCR,
they are asking for additional funds to operate remediation system for additional 3-6 months. In their justification, they
indicated that based on the recent rebound testing period data,TPHg and B was found to be at higher level.
In response, I e-mailed a note to Tim (Adv. Geo). In August 2014,5 year group had done low threat closure review(Aug
19,2014 doc on Geotracker). In that review, site closure was recommended based on the site specific conditions and
historical data. Recent data provided in Nov 2014 report for MW 1 and 6 are not significantly different from historical
data (in fact those are in the same rnge). There is no significant increase in any concentration.
I am forwarding you that e-mail.
Jatin
From: Khandwala,Jatin@Waterboa ds
Sent: Thursday, January 29, 2015 0:31 AM
To: Tim Cuellar'
Subject: RE: Claim 12325 - Pacific r Wash -4405 Pacific Avenue, Stockton
Tim,wanted to talk to you about this site. Based on the review of recent monitoring data for MW 1 and 6 (to be
specific), it seems that the numbers are relatively high. But when you review these data in conjunction with the
historical data these numbers are in the same range as historical data. I do not see any significant jump in
concentrations during rebound testing period.
Jatin
2
