0 0
Advanced
GeoEnvironmental, Inc . `
tj,° 0a 12 January 2015
(y2 AGE-NC Project No. 96-029
Ms. Kimberly Kessler Grecl
25700 Hatton Road
Carmel, California 93923-82529
Subject: Groundwater Domestic Water Well Testing
4343 Pacific Avenue, Stockton, California
Dear Ms. Grech:
Advanced GeoEnviron mental, Inc. (AGE) is currently working on a groundwater cleanup
investigation at the Pacific Car Wash, 4405 Pacific Avenue, Stockton CA. The groundwater
cleanup investigation is being overseen and directed by the San Joaquin County Environmental
Health Department (EHD), and is the result of former leaking gasoline underground storage
tanks (USTs). The leaking USTs were removed from the Pacific Car Wash site circa 1998.
As part of the investigation and cleanup effort, the EHD has identified several domestic water
wells that are potentially located near to the Pacific Car Wash site, including one domestic water
well located on your property at 4343 Pacific Avenue, Stockton CA. If possible, the EHD would
like to have all identified domestic water wells tested to ensure that no impact has occurred as a
result of the former leaking gasoline USTs. AGE is therefore requesting your assistance in this
matter by allowing access to the property at 4343 Pacific Avenue, Stockton CA so that we may
collect a water sample from the domestic water well for testing.
All cost associated with collecting and analyzing the water well sample will be the responsibility
of the property owners at the Pacific Car Wash. Additionally, at your request, a copy of the
laboratory report will be forwarded to you upon completion of the laboratory analysis.
Your cooperation is greatly appreciated for completion of this project. Please contact us in any
event if access to the domestic water well 'WILL' or 'WILL NOT' be allowed so that we can
properly document to the EHD that notification occurred.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our office at (209) 467-1006. If you
should wish to contact the San Joaquin County EHD for further information, Mr. Gabriel
Gonzales is the contact person, and he can be reached at 209-468-3442.
Sincerely,
Advanced GeoEnvirolFnmennttall Inc.
to
Timothy . u r
Project nager
cc: Mr. Gabriel Gonzales, San Joaquin County Env.
