Vicki McCartney [EH]
From: Tim Cuellar[tcuellar@advgeoenv.com]
Sent: Friday, February 14, 2014 3:45 PM
To: Vicki McCartney [EH]
Cc: Nuel Henderson [EH]; Bill Little
Subject: Pacific Car Wash Analytical Results Through January 2014
Attachments: Appendix C SVE Performance Charts.pdf; Appendix F- GWET Performance Charts.pdf, Table
1.pdf; Table 4.pdf, Table 5.pdf; Table 6.pdf; Appendix D -MW Plots.pdf
Hi Vicki,
As we discussed by telephone, the remediation system at Pacific Car Wash has
been shut-down based on the EHD letter dated 01/31/14. I am forwarding you
current tables and plots summarizing remediation results at Pacific Car Wash prior
to shut-down (rebound). Based on the analytical data, it would appear the
remediation extraction rates have steadily been increasing over the past 3-4
months. For January, the remediation extraction rate was estimated to be between
6-7 lbs./day (combined vapor & water). Please let me know if I can provide you
with any additional data. Furthermore, the groundwater plume is still being
detected at the site at concentrations of 100,000 ug/I, and that shutting down the
remediation system (rebound) may have not been the appropriate time.
Please let me know if I can provide you with any additional information. Thanks -
Tim
Timothy J.
