Quarterly Report - February 1998 <br /> PACIFIC CAR WASH <br /> 4405 Pacific Avenue <br /> Stockton, California <br /> 11.0. INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE OF WORK <br /> In accordance with a request from Ms Lila Billheimer, Chief Executor for the Estate of J C <br /> Shaughnessy,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE)has prepared this Quarterly Report for 4405 <br /> Pacific Avenue, Stockton, California(the site) The location of the site is illustrated in Figure 1 A <br /> plan of the site is illustrated in Figure 2 <br /> The objective of the work was to monitor dissolved petroleum hydrocarbon concentrations in ground <br /> water and to characterize ground water flow direction and gradient on the site This report is prepared <br /> in accordance with guidelines established by the San Joaquin County Public Health Services - <br /> Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) and the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control <br /> Board (CVRWQCB) for investigation of underground storage tank (UST) kites A summary of <br /> previous investigations at the site was included in the Preliminary Site Investigation and Evaluation <br /> Report-January 1997, dated 15 January 1997 and prepared by AGE <br /> 20 PROCEDURES <br /> 2 1 QUARTERLY MONITORING AND SAMPLING ACTIVITIES <br /> On 18 February1998 the depth to ground w w w W- <br /> p g u iter as measured in monitoring ells M 1 through <br /> MW-6 (the monitoring wells) from the top of each respected well casing to the nearest 0 01 foot <br /> utilizing a Solinst water level meter Ground water elevations from the monitoring wells were <br /> calculated by subtracting the measured depth to ground water from the surNeyed relative casing <br /> elevations (Table 1) Ground water elevations with respect to mean sea level were plotted and <br /> contoured on a scaled site map (Figure 3) <br /> After water levels were measured, approximately 6 to 12 gallons of ground water (a minimum of <br /> three well volumes per well) were removed from the monitoring wells utilizing a two stage <br /> submersible pump While purging water,temperature,pH and conductivity were measured at regular <br /> intervals from each well to monitor for stabilization using an ICM Model 52200 water analyzer <br /> Dissolved oxygen was measured in water purged from each monitoring well using a YSI Model 55 <br /> Dissolved Oxygen Meter following stabilization of the produced water Stabilization data and field <br />' logs are included with Appendix A, dissolved oxygen field measurements are summarized in Table <br /> 2 Purged ground water was containerized in 55-gallon drums and stored on-site in an area lacking <br /> general public access <br /> i4dvarrced GtoEnriron mental,Inc <br />
