r <br /> r30 August 2005 <br /> • AGE-NC Project No 96-0229 <br /> rPage 4 of 6 <br /> r a net ground water flow towards the northeast at hydraulic gradients of approximately 0 004 ft/ft or <br /> less (Figure 4) <br /> r3 12 Second Water Zone <br /> r Ground water elevation data collected in the Second Water Zone (70 to 95 feet bsg) at the site and <br /> off-site (wells MW-13 through MW-17 and MW-19) inferred a net ground water flow direction <br /> towards the east at hydraulic gradients of approximately 0 005 ft/ft or less (Figure 5) <br /> I <br /> 3 2 LABORATORY RESULTS OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES <br />' A total of thirty-sixound water les were submitted to Cal Tech Environmental Laboratories <br /> �' samples <br /> (CTEL), a DHS-certified laboratory in Paramount, California <br /> TPH- was detected in round water samples collected from wells MW-1 through MW-3 MW-6 <br /> g g p g , <br /> MW-9, MW-10 (A and B) and MW-16B at concentrations as high as 200,000 micrograms per liter <br /> (µg/1) in well MW-2 <br /> BTEX compounds were detected in samples MW-1 through MW-3, MW-6, MW-9 and MW-16B <br /> (only xylene detected)at concentrations as high as 93,000µg/l(xylene,MW-2),the highest benzene <br /> concentration was detected In sample MW-2 at a concentration of 5,800 µg/1 <br /> The fuel additive MTBE was detected by EPA Method 8260 in samples MW-1 through MW-3, <br /> MW-6,MW-9,MW-10(A and B)and MW-16(B-C)at concentrations as high as 680 µg/1(MW-3), <br /> in addition, 1,2-DCA was detected in the ground water samples collected from wells MW-1,MW-2, <br /> MW-9,MW-16B and MW-17A at concentrations of 21 µg/1, 13 µg/l,4 8 µg/l,2 7 µg/l and 3 9 µg/l, <br /> respectively <br /> No other constituents of concern were detected above laboratory reporting limits In the analyzed <br /> samples Previous and current analytical results of ground water monitoring well samples are <br /> summarized in Table 3 The laboratory reports (CTEL Project Numbers 0504036 and 0504063), <br /> quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) reports and chain of custody forms are presented in <br /> Appendix B GeoTracker confirmation pages of the submitted laboratory electronic deliverable <br /> format (EDF) files are Included in Appendix C <br />• <br /> Advanced GeoEnvfronmentsl,Inc <br />
