To address surface spills at the northern extent of the property, a soil boring was drilled to
examine soil conditions. Analysis of the sample nearest the surface revealed the targeted analytes
to be nondetected to their respective detection limits.
A subsurface geophysics survey was conducted to locate any potential USTs at the subject
Lproperty. One anomaly was detected during the survey which indicates a potential UST. It is
recommended that this anomaly be investigated by excavating overlying soil to an extent
' necessary to identify the source. Should a UST be located while conducting the excavation, the
San Joaquin County Health District should be notified immediately for further guidance.
IT has met due diligence requirements on behalf of Cargill in completing this Phase II
Investigation for the subject property and, based on information provided from the surveyed areas
(i.e., monitoring well and soil boring locations), we (IT) believe that no remedial effort is
necessary for the site. Although information from this investigation was collected in what
' appeared to be representative areas of the property, no guarantee is made or implied that the site
is free of potential "hot spots" which were not revealed in this investigation.
r
1 6
N=2D69IAM/.rx aai7.1pi
