A letter of acknowledgment is included <br /> in the appendix of this work plan. <br /> SITE BACKGROUND AND ADJACENT PROPERTY <br /> - i <br /> ARCO Service Station No. 6100 is on the northwest corner of Paterson Pass Road and <br /> Interstate 580, as shown on the Site Vicinity Map (Plate P-1). The site is approximately <br /> 1,000 feet southwest of the California Aqueduct. <br /> The approximate locations of the present site features are shown on the Generalized Site <br /> Plan(Pl,:e P-2). According to information supplied by ARCO,there are five 6,000 gallon <br /> gasoline-storage tanks that are labeled T-1 through T-5 on Plate P-2. Tanks T-1 and T-2 <br /> store regular leaded gasoline, tanks T-3 and T-4 store unleaded gasoline, and tank T-5 <br /> shores super unleaded gasoline. It is our understanding from ARCO personnel that no <br /> other tanks have occupied the gasoline-storage tank cavity and that the tanks have not <br /> stored other fluids. <br /> x <br /> The site is approximately 300 feet above sea level.
