California
Four soil samples were collected from the drill cuttings. At the request of ARCO, the
samples were submitted to the GSX Lolrern Facility in Buttonwillow,
California, fora `
profile analysis. ARCO was responsible for the disposal of the drill cuttings.
LABORATORY RESULTS
in soil samples are presented in Table 2. The sample
The concentrations of hydrocarbons
number represents the depth below grade that the sample was collected and the boring
number. Hydrocarbons were detected to 45 feet in boring B-1, 20 feet in boring B-2, and
10 feet in boring B-3. TPHg concentrations ranged from below detection limits to 1,900
parts per million (pprn) in samples collected from these three borings. In tha 30 foot
sample from boring B-1 (S-30-B1), BTCX compounds wire detected at 11, 67,26 and 150
-;
pere below 1.0 ppm in the 45
pm, respectively. BTEX concentrations w
foot sample (S4 -
B3),except total xylenes which were detected at 1.3 ppm. in sample. S-50-B1 and 5-55-81,
hydrocarbons were below detection levels.
i
f
- illF
8
APAPAOd 0005. VI"S
