f
Limited Environmental Investigation July 16, 1990
ARCO Service Station No. 6100, Tracy, California AGS 30041-1
Four soil samples were collected from the drill cuttings. At the request of ARCO, the
µ samples were submitted to the GSX Lokern Facility in ButtonwiIlow, California, for a
;Ky profile analysis. ARCO was responsible for the disposal of the drill cuttings.
fo j
€ LABORATORY RESULTS !
f
The concentrations of hydrocarbons in soil samples are presented in Table 2. The sample
_ number represents the depth below grade that the sample was collected and the boring
number. Hydrocarbons were detected to 45 feet in boring B-1,20 feet in boring B-2,and
10 feet in boring B-3. TPHg concentrations ranged from below detection limits to 1,900
parts per million (ppm) in samples collected from these three borings. In the 30 foot
' sample from boring B-1 (S-30-131), 13TEX compounds were detected at 11, 61,26, and 150
ty1
Ppm, respectively. BTEX concentrations were below 1.0 ppm in the 45 foot sample (5-45-
4
r
131),except total xylenes which were detected at 1.3 ppm. In samples S-50-B1 and S-55-131,
 1 4
MMh000111 hydrocarbons were below detection levels.
j
I
a
° APPIfed Geosystems
