Average Applied Vacuum This Period 69 04"wc HC Destroyed This Period (lab) 6,177 98 lbs Cumulative HC Destroyed 39,663 65 lbs as GRO (mass from old and new SVE systems) Number of Shutdowns 1 DISCUSSION Upper Water Bearing Zone (Sand Zone 1 During the fourth quarter 2005, a product sheen was found in wells MW-4, VW-1, and VW4, and 6 gallons of product/water mixture were manually bailed Approximately 2 gallons (MW-4), 12 gallons (VW-1), and 18 gallons (VW-4) of product/water mixture have been manually bailed to date Product thickness measurements and volumes of liquid bailed are summarized in Table 1 At the time of the fourth quarter 2005 monitoring event, groundwater levels had decreased between 0 11 and 16 97 feet in wells MW-2, MW-4, MW-8, MW-13, VW-1, VW-3, VW-4, and VW-6, and increased 0 80 feet in well VW-5 since the previous monitoring event (September 19, 2005) Depth-to-water measurements were normalized to mean sea level (MSL) and used to construct a groundwater elevation contour map (Figure 3) Wells that contained less than 1 foot of water are interpreted to be dry and are indicated as"dry" on Figure 3 The groundwater levels in wells VW-1 and VW-6 appeared anomalous and these wells were not used in contour construction Groundwater flow was generally to the southeast at gradients ranging from 0 089 to 0 118 ft/ft Groundwater flow in the upper water bearing zone has been to the south, south-southeast, and toward the southwest during previous quarters • K\13p-Arco for URS\6100\Quartcrly\2005\Arcw_6100_4Q05 doc 5TRATi15
