Site Conceptual Model October 3,2002 ARCO Faciltty No 6100 3 SUMMARY OF SITE ASSESSMENT ACTIVITIES Assessment of petroleum hydrocarbon impact was initiated in June 1990 Several consultants have been involved in environmental investigations at this site The following is a brief summary of assessment activities conducted to date at the site Locations of all soil borings and wells are included on Figure 2 • Applied GeoSystems installed borings B-1 through B-5 between June 6 and 8, 1990 • The USTs were replaced in November 1990 Roux Associates, Inc collected soil samples from the UST pit between November 7 and 28, 1990 • Resna drilled borings B-6 through B-11 between October 7 and 11, 1991 Four of the borings were completed as vapor wells VW-1 through VW-4 • Resna drilled borings B-12 through B-19 between November 20 and 27, 1991 Five of the borings were completed as vapor wells VW-5 through VW-9 • Resna drilled borings B-20 through B-25 between June 1 and 3, 1992 These borings were completed as vapor wells VW-10 through VW-15 • Resna drilled bonngs B-26 through B-28 between December 15 and 22, 1992 Two of these borings were completed as vapor wells VW-16 and VW-17 • EMCON installed wells VW-18, VW-19, and VW-20 between June 26 and July 5, 1995 • Delta drilled boring B-32 and constructed monitoring well MW-1 to this boring between August 24 and 30, 2000 • Delta drilled borings B-33 through B-38 between August 29 and September 7, 2001 • Delta installed wells MW-2 through MW-9 between September 10 and 25, 2001 • The dispensers and product piping were replaced during the first quarter 2002 Delta collected compliance soil samples between January 18 and February 11, 2002 Boring depths and well construction details are summarized in Appendix A Soil analytical data from the UST removal and product piping activities are included in Appendix B • P 1Bp-Arco for URS161001Reports16100 SCM doc Page 4 Stratus
