ND = none detected at or above laboratory reported detection limit.
TPH-G = total petroleum hydrocarbons, quantified as gasoline. ND (X) = none detected to a level of X.
MTBE = methyl tertiary butyl ether. * = detection limit raised due to elevated petroleum hydrocarbon result.
NA = nottested for this analyte.
[x1 = EPA Method 602 analysis indicates a concentration of x; result is not confirmed by EPA Method 8260, however. Future analysis by EPA
Method 8260 may indicate that MTBE is not present
- v =other oxygenates/additives were analyzed by EPA Method 8260 and were not detected at or above the laboratory reported detection limits.
• = as of the fourth quarter 1999, MTBE was analyzed by EPA Method 602; groundwater monitoring for gasoline oxygenates/additives other
than MTBE was discontinued.
1 = as of the third quarter 2000, MTBE and BTEX were analyzed by EPA Method 9021B
5.2.3 DISCUSSION OF OTHER ANALYTES CONCENTRATIONS
Concentrations of toluene, ethyl benzene, total xylenes, and TPH-G in MW- 1 have decreased over time,
while concentrations of toluene have decreased for MW-2. Concentrations of ethyl benzene, total
xylenes, and TPH-G have shown slight increases in monitor well MW-2. Therefore these increased
concentrations with higher groundwater elevations indicate groundwater contact with an additive source.
As the wells are drowned, we are not sampling the first water in contact with this additive source.
n
L ♦ CONDOR
