Park Street
Stockton, CA 95207
RE: Interim Status Report, Phase H Investigation
Canepa's Car Wash, Pacific Ave., Stockton, CA
Dear Remo;
Enclosed is your copy of the status report for the investigation at the Pacific Avenue
facility. To date, we have identified the groundwater gradient, characterized the
stockpiled soil for disposal, and helped define the contamination plumes in the soil and
groundwater. Additional wells will be needed to identify the groundwater plume as
proposed in this report. These wells will be installed as a continuation of the study and
under the existing drilling permit. WHF will schedule the borings/wells as soon as the
drilling company can schedule the work. Again, we will conduct the drilling to have the
least impact on your normal flow of business as possible.
Additional copies of this report have been forwarded to Ms. Diane Hinson at San Joaquin
County - Environmental Health Department, and to Ms. Elizabeth Thayer at RWQCB for
their review and information.
If you should have any questions, please do not hesitate to call our office at (209) 579-
8138 . Thank you for your time, patience and cooperation during this investigation.
i
Sincerely,
Lou Snuth
WHF Environmental Consultants, Inc.
cc : Ms. Diane Hinson
Ms. Elizabeth Thayer
ool
