Soil extracts and <br /> water samples are subjected ro purge-and-trap .introduction into <br /> the GC. <br /> TPS--Total petroleum hydrocarbons (low-to-medium boiling points) <br /> are measured by extraction according to EPA Method 5J30 followed <br /> by analysis by a modified EPA Method 8015 which uses a GC <br /> equipped with an FID.
