INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE OF WORK <br /> In accordance with a request from Mr David Atwater of Van De Pol Enterprises, Advanced <br /> GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this Quarterly Report for 2402 Pacific Avenue, <br />' Stockton, California The location of the site is illustrated in Figure 1 -Location Map A plan of the <br /> site is illustrated in Figure 2 - Site Plan <br /> The scope of work for this investigation included Installation of two dual completed in-situ air <br />' sparging wells and monitoring of petroleum hydrocarbon-impacted ground water on the site This <br /> report is prepared in accordance with guidelines established by the San Joaquin County Public <br /> Health Services - Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) and the Central Valley Regional <br /> Water Quality Control Board for investigation of underground storage tank (UST) sites <br /> Background information and a description of prior investigations at the site was included in <br /> Preliminary Site Investigation and Evaluation Report - August 1996, dated 09 September 1996 <br /> 10 <br /> prepared by AGE <br /> 1 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> 21 REVIEW OF REGIONAL DEPTH TO GROUND WATER MAPS <br /> Review of depth to ground water maps published by the San Joaquin County Flood Control and <br /> Water Conservation District and dating back to 1971 suggested that historical ground water depths <br /> may have been as low as 70 feet bsg near the site <br /> 22 QUARTERLY MONITORING AND SAMPLING ACTIVITIES OCTOBER 1997 <br /> On 16 October 1997, quarterly ground water monitoring and sampling procedures were performed <br /> on wells MW-1 through MW-9,VW-1 and VW-2 Ground water levels and total well depths at MW- <br /> 1 through MW-9,VW-1 and VW-2 were measured to the nearest 0 01-foot utilizing a Solinst water <br /> level meter The relative ground water elevations were calculated by subtracting the depth to ground <br /> water from the relative casing elevations surveyed from a temporary benchmark assigned an arbitrary <br /> elevation (Table 1 - Relative Ground Water Elevations) Relative ground water elevations were <br /> plotted and contoured on a scaled site rnap (Figure 3 - Relative Ground Wates Elevation Map) <br /> After water levels were measured approximately four to eight gallons of ground water minimum <br /> of three well volumes) were purged from MW-1 through MW-9, VW-1 and VW-2 utilizing a two- <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br />
