r
r01 September 2005
AGE-NC Project No 95-0173
rPage 10 of 10
r Although analytical results of SVE air flow samples suggested near non-detectable levels,
operation of the existing SVE remediation system still appears to have a positive and
beneficial effect In mass removal of hydrocarbon-Impacted soil vapor and dissolved
r hydrocarbons, albeit at low concentrations Therefore, AGE recommends continued
operation of the on-site SVE remediation system and will be re-evaluated on a quarterly
basis Based on the current data, AGE anticipates operation of the SVE remediation system
rat least through the 2005 calendar year
• SVE and IAS operations should be temporarily suspended for a minimum of one-month at
r the site to evaluate whether or not ground water `rebound' occurs In selected ground water
monitoring wells If concentrations increase or plateau In the area of well MW-4, it may be
necessary to augment the existing SVEJAS remediation system by Installing at least one
radditional SVE and IAS wells In the area of well MW-4
• Confirmation soil borings should be advanced at the site to at least 70 feet bsg to evaluate
rsoil and ground water clean-up progress
r6.0. LIMITATIONS
Our professional services were performed using the degree of care and skill ordinarily exercised by
renvironmental consultants practicing In this or similar localities The findings were based mainly
upon analytical results provided by an Independent laboratory Evaluation of the hydrogeologic
conditions at the site for the purpose of this Investigation Is made from a limited number of available
rdata points (e g ground water and soil vapor samples), and subsurface conditions may vary away
from these data points No other warranty, expressed or Implied, Is made as to the professional
Interpretations, opinions, and recommendations contained In this report
r
r
r
r
Advoneed GcoEn"ronmental,Inc
r
