Quarterly Report - First and Second Quarters 2005 <br /> • CALIFORNIA FUELS CARDLOCK STATION <br />' 2402 Pacific Avenue, Stockton, California <br />' 1.0. INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr David Atwater,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this <br /> tquarterly report documenting the procedures and results for a second quarter 2005 ground water <br /> monitoring event performed at 2402 Pacific Avenue, Stockton, California(the site),the report also <br /> documents the January through June 2005 progress of the in-situ air sparging (IAS) and soil vapor <br />' extraction (SVE) recovery system The objectives of the site activities were to monitor dissolved <br /> petroleum hydrocarbon concentrations in ground water, to assess ground water flow direction and <br />' gradient,and to monitor the progress and effectiveness of SVE and IAS remediation at the site The <br /> site setting is illustrated on Figure 1 Structures and monitoring well locations are depicted on <br /> Figure 2 <br />' This report has been prepared in accordance with guidelines issued by the Central Valley Regional <br /> Water Quality Control Board(CVRWQCB)for the investigation of underground storage tank(UST) <br /> sites A summary of previous investigations at the site was included in Appendix A of Quarterly <br /> Report-Second Quarter 2004, dated 01 October 2004 Analytical data acquired to date is included <br /> in the tables in this report <br /> 10 The following is a brief summary of site assessment and SVE remediation activities performed at <br /> the site between 22 December 2004 and 08 June 2005 (first/second quarters 2005) <br />' • Between 22 December 2004 and 08 June 2005-Continued SVE/IAS remediation selectively <br /> utilizing on-site SVE wells (VW-1 through VW-7) and selectively utilizing IAS wells <br />' AW-113 and AW-2B, extracted a total of approximately 266 pounds (42 gallons) of <br /> petroleum hydrocarbons from the subsurface <br />' • 20 January 2005 - Monthly monitoring event performed on SVE/IAS remediation system <br /> • 16 February 2005 -Monthly monitoring event performed on SVE/IAS remediation system <br /> • 16 March 2005 - Monthly monitoring event performed on SVE/IAS remediation system <br /> • 05 April 2005 -Monthly monitoring event performed on SVE/IAS remediation system, soil <br /> vapor extraction carbon change-out performed at SVE media vessels <br /> • 03 May 2005 - Monthly monitoring event performed on SVE/IAS remediation system <br /> • 16 May 2005 - Quarterly ground water monitoring event (second quarter 2005) performed <br /> on wells MW-1 through MW-13, AW-1, and AW-2 <br /> • 08 June 2005 - Monthly monitoring event performed on SVE/IAS remediation system <br /> • <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br />
