FIELD PROCEDURES <br /> All field procedures will be overseen by an AGE representative under the supervision of a California <br />' Registered Geologist Procedures for well installations, well development and aquifer pump testing <br /> procedures are described below <br />' 3 1 DRILLING AND SAMPLING <br />' A soil boring for installation of a ground water extraction well will be advanced to a depth of 60 feet <br /> bsg utilizing a truck-mounted, hollow-stem drill ng and 10-inch diameter hollow-stem augers Soil <br /> cuttings will be placed on and covered by plastic sheeting Rinseate generated during drilling <br />' activities will be containerized in properly labeled DOT-approved 55-gallon drums and stored on-site <br /> in an area lacking public access Disposal alternatives for nnseate and stockpiled soil will be selected <br />' based on results of a laboratory analysis <br /> ,Soil samples will be continuously collected from EW-1 utilizing a five-foot macro core sampler and <br />' will be described and recorded on boring logs The macro core sampler will be driven by dropping <br /> a 140-pound weight from a height of 30 inches Selected soil samples will be submitted to a State <br /> of California Department of Health Services(DHS)-certified laboratory for analysis for the following <br />' constituents <br /> • TPH-g by EPA Methods 5030/8015M, <br /> • Benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and xylene (BTEX), ethylene dibromide (EDB), 1,2- <br /> dichloroethane(1,2-DCA),tertiary butanol(TBA),di-isopropyl ether(DIPE), ethyl tert butyl <br /> ether (ETBE), tetrachloroethene (PCE), trichloroethene (TCE), tert amyl methyl ether <br /> (TAivi-) and fnetiiyl to G butyl ether(MTBE) by 1T NIcthod 42601:4od.f:ed <br /> Laboratory reports for soil analysis, testing methods, laboratory quality assurance/quality control <br /> (QA/QC) reports, and sample chain of custody documentation will be presented in a report with <br /> findings and recommendations <br /> Selected soil samples may also be analyzed for intrinsic permeability, moisture content,porosity and <br /> p Y <br />' Advanced GeoEnviron mental,Inc <br />
