I
01 November 2000
• AGE-NC Project No 95-0173
IPage 6 of 6
between 75 and 95 feet bsg A model depicting the impact to soil is shown in Figure 3
• The petroleum hydrocarbon-impacted soil appears to extend vertically from the UST area to
depths in excess of 100 feet bsg, but at reduced concentrations below 75 feet bsg
IDeeper ground water in the area of MW-13 (95 to 100 feet bsg) is impacted with TPH-g and
BTEX compounds, TPH-d was also detected by laboratory analysis, however the laboratory
Iindicated that the sample chromatogram was not a typical diesel pattern
• The vertical extent of petroleum-impacted soil and ground water have not been fully
Idelineated in the area of MW-13
5.0. RECOMMENDATIONS
Based on the findings of the environmental activities recounted in this report, AGE recommends
Iincorporation of well MW-13 into the existing quarterly ground water monitoring program The next
ground water monitoring event is tentatively scheduled for December 2000 Based on the analytical
results of ground water samples collected from MW-13 over the next three quarters,AGE will assess
Ithe vertical extent of dissolved petroleum-impact and make additional recommendations regarding
vertical delineation
I
6.0. LIMITATIONS
IOur professional services were performed using that degree of care and skill ordinarily exercised by
environmental consultants practicing in this or similar localities The findings were based upon
I analytical results provided by an independent laboratory Evaluation of the hydrogeologic conditions
at the site for the purpose of this investigation was made from review of previous consultants reports
and a limited number of available data points (soil and ground water samples) and subsurface
conditions may vary away from these data points No other warranty, expressed or implied, is made
as to the professional recommendations contained in this report
i
I
IAdvanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc
l
