' 01 October 2004 <br /> AGE-NC Project No 95-0173 <br />' Page 3of10 <br />' 23 LABORATORY ANALYSIS OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES <br /> After labeling,each ground water sample was logged on a chain of custody form,placed in a chilled <br /> container and transported to Cal Tech Environmental Laboratones(CTEL),a California Department <br /> of Health Services (DHS)-certified laboratory to be analyzed for <br />' • Total petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as gasoline (TPH-g) in accordance with EPA <br /> Method 5030/8015M, and <br />' • Benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and total xylenes (BTEX), methyl tertiary-butyl ether <br /> (MTBE), tertiary-amyl methyl ether (TAME), tertiary butanol (TBA), dl-isopropyl ether <br /> (DIPE), ethyl-tertiary-butyl ether (ETBE), 1,2-di chloro ethane (1,2-DCA) and ethylene <br />' dibromide (EDB) in accordance with EPA Method 8260 <br /> 1 24 QUARTERLY GROUND WATER MONITORING AND SAMPLING FINDINGS <br />' AGE determined ground water flow direction and gradient from the field data collected on 06 July <br /> 2004, the contaminant Impact to ground water was assessed from the laboratory data <br />' 2 4 1 Ground Water Elevation and Gradient <br /> During the July 2004 ground water monitoring event, the depths to ground water were measured <br /> between 29 60 and 33 00 feet below the tops of the well casings (Table 2), ground water elevations <br /> were calculated to be between 20 98 feet (MW-8) and 22 91 feet(MW-13C)below mean sea level <br />' Generally,ground water elevation at the site decreased an average 1 54 feet between the March 2004 <br /> and the July 2004 ground water monitoring events <br />' The July 2004 net ground water flow direction at the site was Inferred to be east-northeast at an <br /> approximate gradient of 0 005 ft/ft (Figure 3), GeoTracker confirmation pages of the submitted <br /> ground water monitoring electronic deliverable format (EDF) files are included in Appendix C <br /> 2 4 2 Laboratory Results of Ground Water Samples 06 July 2004 <br /> A total of seventeen ground water samples were submitted to CTEL for analysis TPH- was <br /> �' p Y g <br /> detected from seven ground water samples collected from wells MW-2, MW-4,MW-13 (A and B), <br /> AW-1 (A and B) and AW-2B at concentrations as high as 17,000 micrograms per Iiter(µg11) in the <br /> sample from AW-1B <br />' Advanced GeoEnviron mental,Inc <br />
