' 05 May 1997 <br /> • AGE-NC Protect No 95-0173 <br />' Page 4 of 29 <br />' municipal wells in the site area are maintained by California Water Service Company (Cal Water) <br /> Based on a map titled Water System of Stockton, published by Cal Water, a municipal water well <br /> (Station 4) is located approximately 650 feet northeast of the site near the intersection of Bonnie <br /> Lane and Ellis Street A second municipal water well (Station 26) is located approximately 1,350 <br /> feet southeast of the site near the intersection of Commerce Avenue and Wyandotte Street The map <br /> did not indicate any other municipal wells maintained by the City of Stockton or Cal Water located <br />' within 2,000 feet of the site <br /> Representatives of AGE performed a reconnaissance of visually observable potential receptors <br /> within a 2,000-foot radius of the above referenced site The two municipal water wells(Station 4 and <br /> Station 26) mentioned above were observed as located on the Cal Water map No other visible <br /> potential receptors were noted during the reconnaissance <br />' A representative of AGE conducted a search at the California Department of Water Resources of <br /> well drillers reports for water wells located in the surrounding area Drillers reports for water wells <br />' located within a mile radius were found for the following <br /> . • A domestic water well (Cal Water - Station 18) located near the intersection of Commerce <br />' Street and Fulton Street, located approximately 3/4 mile north of the site <br /> • Two domestic water wells located at the University of Pacific and located approximately '/z <br /> to 3/4 mile northwest of the site <br /> • A water well located near the intersection of Bovie Lane and Noble Street and located <br /> ' approximately 1,000 feet northeast of the site <br /> • A domestic water well (Cal Water- Station 4) located near the intersection of Ellis Street and <br /> Bonnie Land, located approximately 650 feet northeast of the site <br /> Figure 3 depicts the approximate location of the water wells located during the well search within <br /> a 2,000 foot radius of the site Copies of the well driller's reports are included as Appendix A <br /> 2 5 S nTT 01-1ARr�iCT T`A TTOJ I <br /> On 17 June 1997, one soil sample (VW1-25) was submitted for microbial enumeration and <br /> physicochemical laboratory analysis The results of the analysis indicated that selected microbial <br /> -e <br /> enu i ,,, <br /> oration <br /> a..a.,, t, ' �A,,,,. mi <br /> �r��rn9n,CmCl lxn-re dPtPrttId nt 400 CFTJ (colony forming <br /> `��11y�J1VirurVVi1- � "n a <br /> units) per gram The laboratory indicated that these physicochemical conditions at the site were <br /> ' inadequate to support microbial growth and bioremedial activity The analysis also indicated that a <br /> degree of biotoxicity to the microbes may be present at the site,possibly due to agents such as heavy <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmcntal,inc <br />
