GROUND WATER SAMPLING
Grab ground water samples will be collected from selected soil probings. The following procedures
will be performed:
• Collect a grab ground water sample from selected probings. Ground water samples will be
collected using a Geoprobe water sampling assembly. A ground water sample will be
collected at each sampling point it) 40-mlVOA vials containing hydrochloric acid and one-
liter amber bottles_
• Transmit each ground water sample to a State-certified laboratory under chain-of-custody
procedure.
• Analyze each ground water sample for TPH-g, TPH-d BTE&X and MTBE in accordance
with EPA methods 8015m and 602.
4.3. REPORT PREPARATION
Upon completion of probing, sampling and laboratory analysis, a report will be prepared summarizing
results of the work performed. The reportvili include rec, imrnendatioI.ns for additional iavestiga*ion
or remediation, if necessary. The report will be in a format acceptable to the PHS-EHD and
CVRWQCB and will be reviewed and signed by a California Registered Geologist.
