Recommendation: <br /> In May 2008, the Fund made the following recommendation: The Fund <br /> recommends that the San Joaquin County LOP direct the Responsible Party to <br /> shut down the vapor extraction system and to conduct confirmation sampling to <br /> confirm remediation has adequately removed residual hydrocarbons. In addition, <br /> the Responsible Party should be directed to collect data necessary to prepare a <br /> complete No Further Action Required report. The Fund will review this site next <br /> year to track progress. <br /> UPDATED, May 2009: This site has been under investigation for 18 years. <br /> Based on the following criteria, the Fund recommends this site be considered for <br /> closure providing a health hazard risk assessment is conducted and determined <br /> safe for prescribed site activities, public participation and fee title notifications are <br /> conducted, and the monitoring wells are appropriately abandoned. <br /> • The source of the UST release has been identified and removed. <br /> California Environmental Protection Agency <br /> Zrf Recycled Paper <br />
