INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE OF WORK <br /> I At the request of Mr Art Wyatt, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this <br /> Quarterly Report for the site located at 4511 Pacific Avenue, Stockton, California (the site) The <br /> scope of work was to install seven soil probe borings to collect soil and ground water samples for <br /> I laboratory analysis and to monitor the ground water monitoring well network on the site The <br /> objective of the work was to assess the lateral extent and concentrations of hydrocarbon-impacted <br /> soil and ground water at the site This report documents the installation of the seven soil probe <br />' borings and the collection and analysis of soil and grab ground water samples, results of ground <br /> water sampling conducted in June 1998 are also included <br />' The site setting is illustrated in Figure 1 Structures, monitoring well and soil boring locations are <br /> illustrated in Figure 2 The site history and a description of previous work performed at the site were <br />' detailed in the Quarterly Report - March 1996 dated 30 April 1996, prepared by AGE Data from <br /> subsequent ground water monitoring events area included in the tables of this report <br /> 2.0. PROCEDURES <br />' Field procedures were performed in accordance with Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control <br /> Board (CVRWQCB) and San Joaquin County Public Health Services - Environmental Health <br /> Division (PHS-EHD) guidelines for subsurface investigations of underground storage tank (UST) <br />' sites <br />' 21 ADVANCEMENT OF SOIL PROBE BORINGS <br /> On 29 and 30 April and 01 May 1998, seven probe borings (B 13 through B 19) were advanced off- <br /> site of the subject property as part of on-going assessment of the release of fuel hydrocarbons from <br /> the former UST facility <br /> 0011 probe UV1111gJ X13, X14 and B10 Were advanced in thG C.enter 111-dIan Vf Pac111C+AVe11 uG, w1AII <br /> boring B 19 was advanced in front of McDonalds on the westem sidewalk of Pacific Avenue Boring <br />' B 17 was advanced in the parking lot of 4509 Pacific Avenue Borings B 15 and B 16 were advanced _ <br /> on the south-central and northeastern portions of the McDonalds property Borings B 13 and B 19 <br /> were advanced to a depth of 60 feet below surface grade(bsg) Bonngs B14,B15,B17 and B18 were <br /> advanced to a depth of 50 feet bsg Boring B 16 was advanced to a depth of 40 feet bsg <br /> Advanced CeoEmimnrnental Inc <br /> 1 <br />
