GeoAudit recommends that groundwater assessment be continued. At
least two additional monitoring wells will be required to
completely delineate the lateral extent of groundwater
contamination.
We also recommend interim remediation of soil contamination. The
existing soil contamination will be a continual source of
groundwater contamination, and should be mitigated before
attempting to remove the groundwater contamination. Vadose zone
well VW-1, installed in 1992 , 1s located within the plume of soil
contamination and should be useful in future soil remediation.
LIMITATIONS
This report is limited in scope; a full report will be submitted
upon completion of the site assessment. Our professional services
were performed using that degree of care and skill ordinarily
exercised by environmental consultants practicing in this or
similar localities. The findings were based upon analytical results
provided by an independent laboratory. No other warranty, expressed
or implied, is made as to the professional recommendations
contained in this report.
Victor B. Cherven, PTT.D.
Principal Geologist
Registered Geologist #3475
