GeoAudit recommends that groundwater assessment be continued. At <br /> least two additional monitoring wells will be required to <br /> completely delineate the lateral extent of groundwater <br /> contamination. <br /> We also recommend interim remediation of soil contamination. The <br /> existing soil contamination will be a continual source of <br /> groundwater contamination, and should be mitigated before <br /> attempting to remove the groundwater contamination. Vadose zone <br /> well VW-1, installed in 1992 , 1s located within the plume of soil <br /> contamination and should be useful in future soil remediation. <br /> LIMITATIONS <br /> This report is limited in scope; a full report will be submitted <br /> upon completion of the site assessment. Our professional services <br /> were performed using that degree of care and skill ordinarily <br /> exercised by environmental consultants practicing in this or <br /> similar localities. The findings were based upon analytical results <br /> provided by an independent laboratory.
