' 25 April 2005
AGE-NC Project No 95-0128
' unit) were measured using an OVM
Soil-vapor effluent and/or influent soil-vapor samples were collected on 13 January,25 January, 10
February, 17 February, 21 February, 28 February, 08 March, 15 March and 23 March 2005 The
influent vapor samples were collected directly into Tedlar vapor bags, the effluent samples were
collected directly out off the effluent stream The samples were labeled, placed in a cooler and
' transported under chain of custody to Cal Tech Environmental Laboratories(CTEL) in Paramount,
a State of California Department of Health Services(DHS)-certified analytical laboratory The soil-
vapor samples were analyzed for
• TPH-g in accordance with EPA Method 8015 Modified, and
• BTEX and MTBE in accordance with EPA Method 8020
3.0. FINDINGS
Analytical results of influent ground water samples and ground water extraction measurements were
used to evaluated the volume of impacted ground water removed and mass of hydrocarbons treated
From field data collected at the SVE remediation system between January and March 2005, AGE
determined the average TPH-g concentration and the average air flow rate, and calculated the
approximate mass and volume of hydrocarbons removed
3 1 ANALYTICAL RESULTS OF GROUND WATER TREATMENT SAMPLES
The laboratory analysis of the ground water extraction treatment influent samples are as follows
• 25 January 2005 - MTBE was detected at a concentration of 38 µg/l
r0 10 February 2005 -Extraction well EW-I MTBE was detected at a concentration of 31 µg11
and xylenes at 3 4 µg/l, Extraction well EW-2 MTBE was detected at a concentration of 49
p,g/l and benzene and ethylbenzene were detected at 8 9 µg11 and 3 2 pg/l, respectively
• 23 March 2005 - Extraction well EW-1 MTBE was detected at a concentration of 12 µg/l,
Extraction well EW-2 MTBE was detected at a concentration of 14 µg/1 and benzene and
xylene were detected at 12 µg11 and 2 4 µg/l, respectively
• No detectable concentrations of TPH-g or TPH-d were present in the samples collected over
this quarter
Advanced GeoEnvironmentaf,Inc
