ACTIVITIES MAY THROUGH OCI0BFR 1991 <br /> • Monitoring wells were gauged and sampled 2 May, l6 and 17 July, and 15 <br /> October 1991 (figures la and lb). <br /> • A letter was sent to the San Joaquin Air Pollution Control District on 25 <br /> September 1091 requesting a more prompt consideration of the Authority to <br /> Construct application submitted 31 July 1991. rhe Authority to Construct <br /> application is now being; processed. <br /> • Soil vapor purged from MW3 and RW3 was analyzed for volatile organic lead <br /> 4 June 1991 as part of the design process for the proposed sjil vapor and <br /> groundwater treatment system. <br /> • Representatives from Exxon, The Bank of Stockton, site owners and trustees, <br /> and EA met 24 June 1991 to decide the final configuration of the proposed new <br /> site construction as it relates to the layout and design of the proposed treatment <br /> system. <br /> 3. PLANNED ACTIVITIES NOVEMBER 1991 THROUGH ,JANUARY 1992 <br /> • Monitoring wells will be gauged and sampled in January 1992. <br /> 4. DEFINITION OF LIQUID-1111ASE HYDROCARBONS <br /> Liquid-phase hydrocarbons (LPH) were found in wells RW3 and V4 on 15 October 1931. Wells <br /> RW3 and V4 contained 1.10 and 0.03 feet of LPH,respectively. The history of LPH occurrence <br /> and measurements can be found in Table 1. <br /> 5. DEFINITION OF DISSOLVhD CONSTITUENT PLUME <br /> Groundwater was sampled 15 October. Samples were analyzed for Total Petroleum Hydrocar- <br /> bons as gasoline (T1111-9) and for benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylenes (BTEX). <br /> Analytical results for the October sampling are summarized in Table 2 and cumulatively <br /> summarized with previous analytical data in Table 3. Copies of the laboratory analytical reports <br /> are included as Appendix A. Field observation forms, which include data on monitoring well <br /> purging and sampling, are included as Appendix B.
