re <br /> CLEARWATER <br /> G R O U P, I N C <br /> Environmental 5ervrces <br /> 4.0 RESULTS <br /> 4.1 Water Level Monitoring Data <br /> Depth to water ranged from 20 42 to 2100 feet bgs on June 19, 1996 The depth to <br /> water in each well was measured from the top of the well casing, which was <br /> surveyed relative to mean sea level (MSL) Water level data are presented in Table <br /> 1, and groundwater elevation contours are presented on Figure 3 The local <br /> groundwater flow is estimated to be to the northeast at an approximate gradient of <br /> 0 6%, which is consistent with results obtained during previous monitoring events <br /> 4.2 Groundwater Analytical Results <br /> Benzene concentrations ranged from nondetectable to 20 parts per billion (ppb); the <br /> highest concentration was in the sample from monitoring well MW-3 TPHg <br /> concentrations were 70 ppb in samples from wells MW-1, MW-3, and MW-5 MTBE <br /> was not detected in groundwater from any of the five wells sampled TPH and <br /> BTEX were not detected in the groundwater samples collected from monitoring well <br /> MW-2 <br /> Analytical results indicate that the groundwater sample from MW-5 did not contain <br /> detectable BTEX concentrations, although the TPHg concentration was 70 ppb It <br /> should be noted that TPHg has been detected in the samples from MW-5 during the <br /> past three quarters, prior to August 1995, hydrocarbons had not been detected in the <br /> MW-5 groundwater samples <br /> A summary of analytical results is presented on Table 1 and on Figure 4 The <br /> laboratory report and chain-of-custody form are attached as Appendix B <br /> i <br /> D-103 2Q96 3 July 11, 1996 <br />
