When this <br /> criteria can not be met the county requires an Activated <br /> Carbon Absorption System Treatment . A permit from SJCAPCD <br /> was applied for and is currently being submitted for the <br /> discharge . Within this permit application we are submitting <br /> we have outlined a sampling sequence and monitoring <br /> procedures and protocols during the initial start up and the <br /> following months . <br /> It should be understood that the permitting process for <br /> airshed discharges typically takes about 4 weeks . Therefore , <br /> we propose to install the hardware portion of the remedial <br /> system upon your approval , however , start-up of the system <br /> will be postponed until the actual permit has been received . <br /> We would appreciate your review of this proposed soil <br /> remedial system.
