WEISS ASSOCtA7ES
Mr.John Randall 7
November 14, 1989
CHEMICAL ANALYSES
The ground water samples were analyzed for total purgeable petroleum hydrocarbons
(TPPH) by modified EPA Method 8015 and for benzene, ethylbenzene, toluene and xylenes
(BETX) by EPA Method 8020. The results of the water analysi-s are presented in Table 2 and
the analytic reports are included as Attachment C.
Analytic results of ground water samples from monitoring well MW-2 show higher
concentrations of BETX and concentrations of TPPH comparable to the historical high
concentrations of July 1989. Analytic results from MW-5 show that hydrocarbons were not
detected. Because there is only one current data point, TPPH and benzene isoconcentration
maps were not generated.
We appreciate the opportunity to provide hydrogeologic consulting services to Chevron
and trust that this report meets your needs. If you have any questions, please call Joe Theisen t`
or Eric Anderson.
;'. Sincereiv,
ED GF Weiss..,sociates
Oy
V n ,P V`T.4C W•
DCS
Eric W.
