The following proposal summarizes the details of our workplan.
2.0 PROJECT HISTORY
- The underground fuel storage tanks were excavated and removed from the
subject property in mid-1988. Soil samples were obtained from beneath the I
underground tanks and associated product piping at the time of the tank removals
'.,.✓ by others. The samples obtained were submitted to an analytical laboratory for
chemical analysis. The results of the chemical analysis conducted on those
; z
samples revealed petroleum contamination present in subsoils at the subject
property. . The waste oil tank removal sample obtained near the north side of the
gasoline tank excavation also revealed contamination present.
Several ground water monitoring wells were installed at the subject property
by others between 1986 and 1988. The ground water monitoring wells were
understood to have been installed in response to product line leakage which was
i discovered sometime in 1985. Some preliminary evaluation of ground water quality
was conducted from chemical analysis conducted on ground water samples obtained
from the wells in March of 1958.
DAMI S
