Refer to Plate 3 for area specifics.
3.0 PROJECT HISTORY
? - The underground fuel storage tanks were excavated and removed from the subject
1
property in September 1983. Soil samples were obtained from beneath the underground
} tanks and associated product piping at the time of the tank removals by others. The
samples obtained were submitted to an analytical laboratory for chemical analysis.
l The results of the chemical analysis revealed low petroleum contamination on most of
the samples. Test results revealed contamination near the south west corner of the l
tank excavation of 3800 ppm TPH, 160 ppm toluene, 77 ppm ethylbenzene, 1430 ppm xylene
and non-detected benzene In addition, the samples from below product lines near the
f ; ; southwest corner of the tank pit excavation revealed 720 ppm TPH, 10 ppm benzene,62
m toluene, 19
f.,
pp pprn ethylbenzene, and 100 ppm xylene. Tine waste oil tank removal
sampling near the north side of the gasoline tank excavat,on also revealed
contamination present with 49 ppm TPH.
15000-205-344
V
DAMES ti `ZI]LS3G
