1.0 INTRODUCTION/PREVIOUS WORK
This report is being submitted in response to a request by
the San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental
n Health Division for further soil clean-up at Waterloo
School, 7007 North Pezzi Road, Stockton, CA (Figure 1).
On November 21, 1989, hydrocarbon contamination of soil was
detected during the removal of one 500 gallon underground
gasoline tank at the project site (Figure 2). The
laboratory results are surwiarized on Table 1 and the soil
sampling report is located x;i Appendix I.
2.0 BACKGROUND TECHNICAL DATA
2.1 Site Location: Waterloo School
7007 North Pezzi Road
Stockton, CA
Contact Person: Mr. Frank Hubbart
Phone: (209) 946-0707
2.2 Map showing site location, relative to nearby landmarks:
The site location is shown on Figure 1.
2.3 Sketch of site.
A site sketch is presented on Figure 2.
2.4 Estimates of liquid quantity and composition leaked:
No estimate of liquid quantity can be made with existing
information. The constituents detected in the soil sample
are derived from gasoline.
2.5 Topography, geology, surface water, depth to groundwater:
The site is situated on level ground comprised of
Quaternary-Recent alluvial sediments. The water table lies
- at .about 95 feet below grade and flows west/southwesterly
based on San Joaquin Flood Control and Conservation District
data.
