Pilgrim Street
Stockton, CA 95205
The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has reviewed our file for the
above subject site. An underground storage tank (UST)was removed from the site on May 7,
2004. The analytical results of soil samples collected beneath the UST when it was removed
confirmed that the UST had leaked petroleum into the soil beneath the UST. The EHD notified
you on June 7, 2004, that we had placed the site in our Local Oversight Program for oversight of
assessment and clean up activities at this contaminated UST site.
On your behalf Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc., a consulting company, submitted a work plan
dated February 9, 2005, to further investigate the contamination at the site. In a letter dated
April 8, 2005, the EHD approved the February 9, 2005, work plan. To date an EHD well permit
application and permit and inspection fees have not been submitted and the proposed work has
not been scheduled nor completed. The EHD is directing you to have the permit application and
fees submitted and the work scheduled by May 5, 2008, and to have the work completed by
June 5, 2008.
Failure to continue the investigation of your site may result in the EHD referring the case to the
California Regional Water Quality Control Board, Central Valley Region for enforcement action.
If you have any questions contact Harlin Knoll at (209)468-3442.
9L4ee_-k4
Harlin Knoll, Senior REHS Margaret agorio, AREHTAL
Senior Registered Environmental Health Specialist Program Coordinator
Cc: James Barton, CVRWQCB
Bill Little, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, 837 Shaw Road, Stockton, CA 95215
