The Workplan <br /> proposed destruction of eight (8) groundwater monitoring wells (MW-1 through MW-8) <br /> by either over-drilling (MW-1 and MW-8) or pressure grouting (MW-2 through MW-7), in <br /> accordance with the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (SJCEHD) <br /> Standards for Well Construction and Destruction, after receipt of SJCEHD well <br /> destruction permits and after utilities marking. Soil cuttings and rinsate water (waste) <br /> will be properly stored and disposed appropriately. Surfaces will be finished to match <br /> existing pavement. A well destruction report will follow after disposal of the waste. <br /> The Workplan is approved. The well destruction report is due within 90 days of the <br /> date of this letter or, if unable to comply within 90 days, an email with a proposed <br /> schedule for well destruction is due by 15 April 2012.
