Based on the electronic submittals to GeoTracker - the State Water <br /> Resources Control Board database program, the last time groundwater samples were <br /> collected at the above-referenced site was in February 2009. Included in this same letter, the <br /> EHD directed the submittal of a soil vapor evaluation. To date, the EHD has not received this <br /> evaluation. <br /> By letter dated July 29, 2009, the EHD approved a work plan titled Soil Vapor Extraction Pilot <br /> Study Work Plan, dated October 20, 2008, prepared by Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. <br /> (AGE) on your behalf for the above-subject site. In the work plan, AGE proposed to conduct a <br /> twenty-four-hour soil vapor extraction (SVE) pilot test using monitoring wells MW-1 and MW-8 <br /> as extraction wells. To date, the SVE pilot test has not been completed. <br /> You are directed to complete the SVE pilot test within thirty days of the date of this letter and <br /> submit the report of findings to the EHD within thirty days of completing the SVE pilot test. <br /> Monitor all wells and collect groundwater samples from monitoring wells MW-1 and MW-5 <br /> through MW-8 during the second quarter 2010, and resume the semi-annual collection of <br /> groundwater samples from MW-1.
