Other
requirements may also apply. These requirements cannot be modified.
A. A soil suitability and nitrate loading study incorporating proposed staff, customer and all
existing and proposed onsite waste water treatment use shall be submitted to the
Environmental Health Department(EHD), indicating that the area is suitable for septic system
usage. The studies must be approved by the Environmental Health Department prior to
issuance of a building permit. (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1105.2(d)).
The fee will be based on the current schedule at the time of payment.
B. The EHD has received the revised site plan dated 01/24/2020. Before the issuance of
building permits the following issues will need to be addressed in an additional revised site
plan in accordance with San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1110.4(c)(5):
a) 100% disposal field replacement area needs to be shown on the revised site plan for
septic systems #1 & #3.
b) The 100% disposal field replacement area for septic system #4 is located under the all-
weather gravel driveway. The replacement area needs to be located in an open area.
c) All disposal fields and 100% replacement area must be used for the disposal of
wastewater only, it shall not be driven over or used as a storage area and it cannot contain
any underground utility lines (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-
1110.4(c)(5)).
C. The site plan shows that the security fence will cross over the leach lines on southernmost
septic system. The San Joaquin County Onsite Waste Water Treatment Systems Standards
Sec. 9.5.4 states that the leach lines and dispersal field must be maintained in an open area
and not compacted. Provide a site plan that shows the security fence will give 10 feet of open
field in all directions around the residential septic systems (San Joaquin County Onsite Waste
Water Treatment Systems Standards Sec. 9.5.4).
Note: This has been demonstrated in the revised site plan dated 01/24/2020.
1868 E.
