Mr. Herb Presxler
Letter of Addendum to Closure Report
' Page Two
was performed to remove the contaminated soils. ETS Environmental
was involved in the. pit sampling' and reported the analytical
results in a closure report dated March 31, 1992 .
As described in the Closure Report of March 31, 1992, two side-wall
4
samples and three bottom samples were found non-detectable for the
tested constituents. Soil analyses has shown only minor amounts of
contamination remaining on site, with the total amount to be .less
than one pound of oil & grease. Limited space has prevented
further excavation and, as mentioned in the closurereport, the
ground water is at 65 to 70 feet, with a hard pan preventing
vertical migration. Therefore, this site should be' considered for '
closure.
Respectively Submitted By:
Roy Austin
Project Geologist
Reviewed By:
.
