To ensure the remaining reserves are available for construction projects throughout San Joaquin County , George Reed is requesting to extend the mining date to December 31 , 2035 . Only an extension of time is being requested, there will be no changes to any conditions of approval , project boundaries , production rates and amounts , mineable reserves , or routes of transportation . There will be no additional environmental impacts related to this request . Proposed Language For Ordinance Development Requirement No. 14: Duration of Approval: This perinit is approved for -Uhlap Uiruty i� 2 I thirty-six (36) years from the date of the approval of the Revisions of Approved Actions, December 31, 2035. The permit shall lapse and become void except for its rehabilitation requirements if operations are discontinued for a period of at least 18 months . Proposed Language For Planning Division Condition No. 1. d: The excavation and rehabilitation shall progress as indicated in the submitted rehabilitation plan . The excavation and iAehabifitatien shall be complete prior to thitcty (36 thirty-six (36) years from the date of approval of the Revisions of Approved Actions, December 31, 2035. The site shall be reclaimed by December 31, 2037. 2 . State the facts showing the changes in circumstances which make the subi ect condition (s) no longer applicable or necessary . Due to market conditions , annual production estimates evaluated in existing Permit # QX- 89 - 2 , were overestimated over the life of the project . As a result , only a portion of the permitted reserves will be extracted by the current approved closure date of December 2029 . To ensure the remaining reserves are available for construction projects throughout San Joaquin County , George Reed is requesting to extend the mining date to December 31 , 2035 . The excavation and rehabilitation plan shall progress as indicated in the already approved rehabilitation plan and shall be complete prior to August 31 , 2037 . Only an extension of mining dates is being requested , there will be no changes to any conditions of approval , project boundaries , production rates and amounts , mineable reserves , or routes of transportation . There will be no additional environmental impact related to this request .
