No benzene was reported in the groundwater samples. <br /> • On May 30, 1995 , JPCA constructed three monitoring wells on this <br /> site. soil samples collected from these borings were analyzed. <br /> On June 5, 1995, six days after the installation of the wells, JPCA <br /> collected groundwater samples which were analyzed. <br /> The soil and groundwater samples collected were analyzed for Total <br /> Petroleum Hydrocarbons as Gasoline (TPHG) and Benzene, Toluene, <br /> Ethylbenzene and Xylene (BTEX) . The groundwater samples were <br /> analyzed for TPHG by EPA Method 8015 modified with purge and trap <br /> preparation 5030 (GC/FID) with detection limits of 50ug/l. A survey of the wells in order <br /> to calculate a gradient was completed using the cement foundation <br /> on the northeastern corner of the barn as a benchmark of 10 feet. <br /> Field notes are contained in Appendix A. <br /> The depth to groundwater was measured in the three wells, by an <br /> 3 <br />
