The levels of TPHG and BTEX in groundwater are much greater than
those reported in the prior environmental investigations at this
site. Initial readings from newly constructed and purged wells are
often not consistent with the values obtained over a longer period
of time.
We propose that the wells be measured for gradient calculations and
that further surging, purging and pumping be done in the middle of
July to get better recharge in the wells.
We also propose quarterly sampling and gradient data measurements
commencing approximately the first week of September 1995 and
continuing each quarter for a year.
This report has been prepared specifically for Ernest Costamagna
with specific application to a hazardous waste investigation. The
report has been prepared with the care and skill generally
exercised by reputable professionals, under similar circumstances,
in this or similar localities. No other warranty, either expressed
or implied, is made as to the professional advice presented.
If you have any questions, please call us.
Sincerely,
\ v
ohn P.
