A copy of the permit is included as Attachment A. Permit <br /> conditions include the following: <br /> i <br /> • Soil borings shall.be drilled to depths no greater than 5 feet (Condition #2). <br /> • A written permit shall be obtained before commencing any work of removal of <br /> hydrocarbon contaminants (Condition # 5). <br /> • Permittees shall imdemnify the Reclamation District (Condition # 6). <br /> Subsequent to our initial written permit request dated April 8, 1992,we prepared a modified . <br /> workplan dated August 7, 1992, to address review comments from the California Regional <br /> Water Quality Control Board, Central Valley Region(Regional Board). The major revision <br /> to the workplan includes the provision to implement interim remedial actions to remove free <br /> product as described in Attachment B. A copy of our revised workplan is included as <br /> Attachment C; revisions to the workplan were made in italic type. We are requesting a <br /> revised permit to reflect the changes made to the initial workplan. <br /> I <br />
