L•iJ -.
C
Mr. Michael Infurna
April 28, 1992
Page 2
Our scope of services includes the installation and sampling of five groundwater monitoring
wells and five soil test borings at the Tower Park Marina, 14900 West Highway 12, Lodi,
California. The borings were not included in our original scope of services and are not
discussed in the workplan. The borings were added to provide additional information on
the potential extent of total petroleum hydrocarbon as gasoline (TPH/G) contaminants at
the subject site. As with the monitoring wells, the soil test borings will be advanced using
conventional hollow stem auger drilling equipment. The monitoring wells will be installed
to depths ranging from approximately 15 feet to 20 feet below ground surface as described
in the workplan. The borings will be drilled to depths of approximately 5 feet below ground
surface and grouted to the surface with neat cement.
Permit applications have also been submitted to the State Board of Reclamation,
Encroachment Section and Local Reclamation District #548. Permit approvals from these
agencies are pending. You will be contacted upon Law Environmental's receipt of approval
from these agencies.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. If you have any questions, please call
William G. Islas at (415) 499-1422.
Sincerely,
LAW ENVIRONMENTAL, INC.
William G.
