The Report describes the results of groundwater
monitoring conducted on 17 December 2002 in accordance with Monitoring and Reporting Program
(MRP)R5-2002-0824 and requests No Further Action status for the site.
The Report summarizes investigation and remediation activities conducted at the site and monitoring
data collected since 1993. Free-phase petroleum hydrocarbons have been removed from the ground
water and ground water monitoring results from MW-3, in the source area, show the total petroleum
hydrocarbon (TPH)concentrations have decreased to 91 µg/L TPH-gasoline and 380 µg/L TPH-diesel.
Please note that the tables in the Report erroneously report concentrations in mg/L. While these
concentrations exceed applicable water quality objectives(WQOs),remaining ground water impacts are
limited, and WQOs are expected to be achieved in a reasonable time frame.
Based on the information in the Report and the Regional Board files,no further action is required at this
site. MRP R5-2002-0824 is hereby rescinded.
Tower Park Marina may proceed to arrange with San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
(SJCEHD) for the permitted abandonment of the monitoring wells at this site. Once we receive
confirmation from the SJEHD that these monitoring wells have been properly destroyed,we will proceed
with issuing a"No Further Action" letter for Tower Park Marina.
If you ave ques ' ns about this letter, you may call Leslie Laudon at (916) 255-3422.
AOMA/S R.
