A well survey is
crucial in order to evaluate the potential pumping influence
in the area which may affect the sub-surface migration of
the contaminants in groundwater, and also to better
understand the conditions which may help determine the most
cost-effective approach to delineate the horizontal extent
of the plume. In a letter dated June 14 , 1999, PHS/EHD
recommended conducting a receptor well survey within 2 , 000
feet radius of this site, and including the survey in the
next workplan. This survey was not included in Site
Assessment work Plan Addendum dated July 28, 1999 prepared
by AGE. This survey has not been submitted to PHS/EHD to
date .
Submit a work plan to install ground water monitoring wells
to define the vertical and horizontal extent of the
contamination by September 15, 2000 . The work plan must
include the above-mentioned sensitive receptor well survey.
If you have any questions please contact Jeffrey Wong at
(209) 468-0335 .
Donna Heran, RENS, Director
Environmental Health Division
Jeffrey :oing, REHS Margar t Lagorio, 'REHS
LOP/Site Mitigation Unit IV Supervisor
C: RWQCB, Central Valley Region - Marty Hartzell
C: Advanced GeoEnvironmental - Bill Little
`i
